what should i decorate my room like?

hey :)

i’m 14 and i’ve had my room painted lilac and purple since i was about 8 :P and now i really hate it and want my room to be more sophisticated.

i can’t decide what theme to choose though because i wear 2 different styles of clothing. i either like kind of rock style wearing band t shirts and skinny jeans, studded belts etc.

or

i wear boho, hippyish, florals.

and i like music by the sex pistols, the who, the jam, biffy clyro, paolo nutini, muse, the pogues, the smiths, the clash, david bowie, the cure, the killers, the kinks, the kooks, jarvise cocker, pulp, the script…………….

i’m into yoga, drawing, journalism, films, books, music, history, computing.

any ideas? websites? hints and tips?

cheers x

Pls. pls. tell me if u like this essay about herbal medication…..?

Throughout the world, the use of modern medicine is decreasing as people are now looking for a more natural way to get healthy. People have especially turned to the use of reflexology, yoga and herbal medications amongst the other remedies.

Lisa Medical Center is one of the most famous places for herbal medication in India. They supply people with 100% natural pills made out of a variety of herbs. They sell pills and ointments for most of the diseases known to man, including blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, leprosy as well as obesity.

The best thing about this center is that each patient is observed by well trained doctors. Before these doctors prescribe any sorts of medication to patients, they make sure that the patient receives a full body check-up and that he informs them about your medical history. If the patient had been taking other medications, they will suggest that he takes the previous medication together with the herbal medication until his health status is
stable.

Probably the greatest advantage of Lisa pills is that they have helped cure many diseases that would have otherwise been incurable. According to modern medicine, people with certain types of disease need to keep on taking medication for the rest of their lives. In addition to being expensive, these modern medicines have side-effects that eventually lead to serious problems such as liver failure.

In conclusion, natural remedies are the best and most efficient ways to treat and cure most diseases. In emergency cases though, the use of modern medicine is extremely helpful.

please tell me if i have punctuation mistakes, if it is boring of if there is any way i can make it better and if i am repeating words too many times

THANKS AND GOD BLESS U ALL!!!

Is this a good Junior Year schedule?

Which schedule look better.

Dance Production
On Your Own / ?
Spanish 1
US History
English 3
Culinary 1 ROP / Yoga

I didn’t even get scheduled into a class for second period for the second semester!

My desired schedule, in no particular order would be this:

English 3
US History
Spanish 1
Physics, Marine Science, or Human Anatomy
Math Analysis
Culinary or Psychology (1st Sem) / Yoga (2nd sem)

My current schedule just seem too slow and easy and has a class missing and i have science credits i still need and i want a little challenge so i for sure want Math Analysis. Dance Prod. I just don’t want to stay in because I was in it last year and it’s not that enjoyable for me and I would rather take an elective i can have fun in or explore an area of interest. Plus the financial cost is 90 dollars plus monthly bills for the Performing Arts program. I also want to prioritize and stop slacking this year and achieve my fullest potential, which mean trying harder and not letting myself be as distracted and take a bit more of a challenging curriculum. BTW, my college plan include Junior College then transferring to University.
im going to community college for 2 years then transferring. Im only taking the third year of math analysis as a challenge and science because i want a challenge and i need science credits since i dropped Chem last year. Honors and AP are too late to sign up for because the summer work is due on the first day.
Even if i was going straight to a University its only 3 yrs require and 4 recommended. Unfortunately at my high school the next classes go Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Math Analysis, then AP Calculus. There are no Honors math classes and there is no regular Calculus.

Is anybody awake….please help!!!?

I am going to be a freshman next year at college. At my college we get to choose 3 classes and they assign us two of them. this was my original schedule that I “somewhat chose.”

Mon & Wed.
8:00 – 8:50 – College Comp.
2:00 – 2:50 – Around the campus
3:00 – 4:20 – Intro. to early education

Tues & Thurs.
9:30-10:50 – Yoga
12:00 – 1:20 – History of world war II
4:30-5:20 – health & wellness

Fri
-8:00 – 8:50 – College Comp.
2:00 – 2:50 – Around the campus

I have a bad back and talked to my consoler about it. I told her I felt yoga would not be the best class and since there were no other opening’s for a gym I opted to take a sociology class instead. She told me it would be no problem and she’d just put me in a sociology class that was open instead of a gym. She also recommended I get out of my history class because she felt that professor was very difficult
(continued below please read!)
Well… she sent me my new schedule and my jaw almost dropped. She changed all of my classes and they aren’t even the same classes!

Mon Wed & Fri.
-College Comp – 8:00-8:50
-History of civilization – 11:00-11:50
(supposidly this professor is VERY difficult)
-Around the campus – 2:00-2:50

Tues & Thurs
-Intro to music – 8:00 – 8:50
-Principals of sociology – 1:30-2:50

i am NOT happy with this schedule at all! AT ALL! 5 days a week of waking up at 8:00 not only that i didn’t sign up for half of these classes I don’t know what she did! She got rid of my one class for my major as well!

what should I do?
I’m afraid to call her again because I’m afraid she’ll get annoyed!
help!

Kundalini: The Secret of Yoga

Kundalini: The Secret of Yoga

Although some aspects of the ancient discipline of Yoga are currently familiar in the West, the real nature and purpose of’ this profound science of the soul is still widely misunderstood. And in the East, where the discipline was born and reached its peak many centuries ago, much of the knowledge gained has since been lost.

Gopi Krishna, drawing upon his own experience of Higher Consciousness, has re-examined the discipline of Yoga and its psychosomatic lever Kundalini in the light of modern knowledge and presents for the first time a clear and comprehensive analysis of this amazing subject. Citing the real goal of Yoga and the most effective way to achieve it, he describes the biological and physiological aspects of the discipline, the rewards of a successful effort, and the tremendous significance true Yoga has for the continued survival and healthy evolution of the race.

The author explains that Yoga and kundalini are interchangeable terms, for there is no Yoga and no union of the individual with Cosmic Consciousness unless kundalini is activated. The whole matter boils down to this: the human brain, as the result of evolution, has now the capacity to exhibit another kind of consciousness which can know itself or, in other words become conscious of consciousness, look beyond Space and Time. What is more surprising, instead of arriving at a conclusion by reasoning, as every normal mind does, it can dive into an Ocean of Knowledge in which all that is knowable is known, and all the problems awaiting solutions are solved. From this ocean, droplets of fresh knowledge trickle down into normal consciousness, according to the degree of attunement with the brain, and it is these droplets of rare knowledge, not possible to recognize by empirical methods, which have always been honored as Revelation .
